With 'Generation 3' Dual Chop and SYNCHRO Control
The 8250T replaces the 8150 model, and the mounted 8250M replaces the 7150 model, both with a massive increase in processing capacity.
Our 3rd Generation 'Dual Chop' system features a 40% increase in the cutting speed (now over 64,000 scissor chops per minute) to deliver a fine and consistent chop length.
A large diameter crossbeater fitted with 132 hardox rippers removes straw from the bale and passed it direct to the fan unchopped, or at the touch of a button a blade bank lowers to chop straw short.
Variable position bale restraint (adjusted via WIFI control) ensures optimum output with straw. (or silage for 8200).
The tethered WiFi control desk has been updated to include the new 'SYNCHRO' functions to get the most from the Dual Chop system. Maximum output, minimum effort.
A screen ensures that straw only leaves the Dual Chop System when it is full processed. 50mm, 40mm (std.) and 30mm screens available.
The 8250ST is also available as the 8250SM 'Mounted' model.
Our 2 speed fan has an updated paddle design to ensure a consistent delivery and maximum blow distance. The 8 paddles are easily replaced for straightforward servicing.
The bale retention beam on the tailgate can be adjusted between one loading and six operating positions.
Seven heavy-duty 60mm x 40mm bed slats are attached with U-Bolts for straightforward servicing to large 10mm diameter galvanised bed chains.
Auto chain oiler (crossbeater drive) is recommended for high-use operations. Standard for Dual Chop 8250 models.
For reliable transmission of power the 8250 crossbeater has a heavy duty chain drive that is automatically lubricated when the bed chain is running.

The 8200 series is designed with high sides to contain material, with horizontal surfaces also eliminated to keep the machine clean.
The PTO is fitted with overrun and Slip Clutch driveline protection.
Manufactured using Hardox, the wearing surfaces in the chute offer a service life up to 3 times longer than standard steel.
Essential for highway use, the front and rear markers ensure that you operate safely when travelling on the road. (standard on trailed models).
All Box Tomahawk models feature a high specification gearbox, with high/low fan speed gear pre-selection.
Stones and debris can quickly be removed from the drop down hatch at the rear of the machine.
