Versatile Hydraulic Drive: Hydraulic drive means the 6100H is suitable for Skidsteers and Mini loaders. Tractors can be used three point hitch or front loader. 1400kg lift capacity required.
Access All Areas: Compact size means the 6100H takes half a rectangular bale or one 5' (1.5m) round bale, but is manoeuvrable in tight spaces making it suitable for all straw bedding operations.
Maximise profitability: Reduces time and effort compared to bedding by hand. Evenly spread a bales in bedding areas to reduce straw usage and provide a comfortable and absorbent bed for cleaner healthier livestock.
Pause / Run modes control processing at the touch of a button. Loading gate, chute and processing are reliably controlled from the handler cab. Cab and external 12V supplies are required.
The blades on the full width crossbeater break the bale apart, then the spirals feed the straw into the high speed fan.
A pressure switch automatically reverses the bedchain and crossbeater when overloaded. The pressure is easily adjustable for optimisation for handler / bale type.
The crossbeater has a self-aligning drive with a rubber damper to absorb loading as it rapidly reverses and re-engages to process the bale.
Hydraulic lift/lower is controlled via the in-cab WiFi control box.
The high strength monocoque body and hydraulic bale clamp make it easy to self load round or half a rectangular bale.
Telehandler / Skid Steer Brackets are available for most Skid Steer, Telehandler and Pivot Steer models.
Tractor Bracket, Is available to fit Category II and III linkages.
Six pressed bed slats are attached with U-Bolts for straightforward servicing to large 10mm diameter galvanised bed chains.
The 6 paddle high speed fan (930rpm) ensures maximum blow distance. Paddles are easily replaced for straightforward servicing. The fan can be paused from the WiFi control desk to move between sheds.
A large diameter bed tensioner with 20mm adjuster thread is easily accessed from outside the machine,
The large capacity 320mm wide chute a Hardox wearing surface for durability. The chute rotates 280 deg. enabling the operator to easily place straw across the entire bedding area.
A pressure gauge assists the operator in setting up the auto-reverse function to ensure efficient operation.
Brackets are available for most Skid Steer, Telehandler and Pivot Steer models.

What are the benefits of a straw blower?
How often an operator beds down, and how much straw they use, will determine the amount of time and straw saved. In every case there will be an improvement in livestock heath and cleanliness if the correct machine is used, particularly with a little and often bedding strategy.
Also consider convenience, reduced risk by not entering the pen, and improved manure quality.
How does a straw blower save straw?
Bales are efficiently broken apart and spread evenly over the bedding area. Straw is lightly bruised to make it absorbent, but not chopped short. Long straw provides structure in the bed. If you only need a part bale for a pen, no problem, save the rest of the bale for another area.
